"Moksha [Freedom]" 12x16" Paper Print

This piece is my fanciful interpretation of Ama Dablam, one of the most iconic peaks in the Himalayas. In dusty purples and lemon yellow, Nepali clouds roil through a valley of sub peaks, and a hilltop shrine rises from the mist. Three tiny figures make their way up a vermillion hillside and a silhouette of prayer flags dances across a deep red sky. In Nepalese, "Moksha" means Freedom. "Moksha" is also the title of a film and project that will spotlight a small but powerful female mountain bike culture in Nepal. This AndShesDopeToo Media House/ Wrk Shrt film will come out in the spring of 2018. This is the concept piece for the film artwork.
